Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy concentrates on care of the Musculoskeletal and Nervous Systems. Our Therapists have advanced training in treating both of these systems which include muscles, bones, joints, tendons, ligaments and nervous tissue. Injury or a surgery to anyone of these structures may result in the need for Physical Therapy and rehabilitative services.

Our Manual Therapy techniques are designed to focus on the structures that are causing your pain and dysfunction. Each session

you will spend an hour with your Doctor of Physical Therapy. They will work with you to positively Effect the structures that are involved in causing your pain. You will work as team with your Therapist to develop an appropriate rehabilitation protocol that returns you to your daily life.

What should I expect from my visits?

Each one of your visits will be with the same Doctor of Physical Therapy that will evaluate you to determine the cause of your pain. Once the culprit of your pain has been identified your Therapist will educate you on these structures and work with you to develop a plan of care. Each session will focus on that plan of care with the ultimate goal of returning you to the highest level of function possible.
